This template comes with Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, and Ableton 10 Standard and above. It comes with custom drum samples and a comprehensive tutorial video showing you how to setup and get the most out of the Mixing Template Pro. Most of the samples for the sample based instruments inside of logic Pro X are stored in Macintosh HD Library Application Support Logic. The folders you want to move to your external sample hard drive are EXS Factory Samples and Ultrabeat Samples. Navigate to the Logic Pro X sample folders stored on the system hard drive. Reverse playback of the sample. 2 LFOs, independently syncable to host tempo. 6 LFO waveforms (sine, saw up, saw down, triangle, square, noise). Support for Anamark, VAZ and Scala tuning files. Drag and drop support for WAV and tuning files. Full MIDI CC control with MIDI learn and inverse. On-board serial LP/HP filter with resonance. Purchase Beats (Instant DL) - https:/.
- How to Import Apple Loops and EXS24 Sampler Files into Logic Pro?
Many of our libraries are supplied in multiple formats. You can check which formats your library is supplied in on the right-hand side 'Format' box, on each product page.
When using sample libraries in Logic Pro, the most popular methods would be using the Apple Loops in the Logic Loop Browser or using the EXS24 samples in the EXS24 Sampler, inside of Logic Pro.
Using the Apple Loops will allow for you to simply demo and drag & drop samples into your project, whereas the EXS24 Sampler will allow for you to trigger the samples with a MIDI keyboard - allowing for you to trigger the samples in manually.
To import the Apple Loops: Terraria minimum specs.
- Launch Logic Pro if it isn't already running.
- View Logic's loop browser by selecting Show Loop Browser from the Control Menu. (Note: In most cases, your loops browser will already be open anyway)
- Move the Logic window temporarily by clicking the round green (+) button in the upper-left window area.
- Open a Browser window on your Mac and locate the folder which contains the sample library's Apple Loops folder. Then drag the folder with the loops you want to use - or any individual loop you wish to import, into Logic's loop browser.
- When the round '+' copy symbol appears over the loop browser, release the mouse button.
- Logic automatically imports the loops to your library. You can choose to either keep the samples where they are on your computer, or you can select the option to move the files into the Apple Loops folder. At Time+Space we store all of our sound libraries on a second hard drive - to free up space, so I select to keep the samples where they are on my computer. (Note: Wait for the 'import' window to disappear, Logic takes a little time to update its loops catalogue.)
To import into the EXS24 Sampler:
Notepad plus linux. Please follow these Instructions to install the EXS24 instruments and Samples onto your Macintosh computer.
- Drag and drop the sample library's EXS24 Instruments folder into the 'Sampler Instruments' folder located at HD/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments/.
- Drag and drop the sample library's Acidized Wav Files folder into the Sampler Files folder located at HD/Library/Application Support/Logic/EXS Factory Samples.
That's it! Next time you launch the EXS24 as an instrument in Logic, your new instruments will appear in the Instruments list.
In the Main Window of Logic Pro, you can drag a file from the Finder, any of the Logic Pro browsers, any audio or MIDI region, or even a marquee sub-selection within an audio region to the lower part of the track header, below the last track, onto one of the software instruments in the pop-up menu:
- Quick Sampler (Original) uses the original tuning, loudness, looping, and length of the file.
- Quick Sampler (Optimized) analyzes the file and optimizes its tuning and loudness, searches for loop points, and crops silence. Sampler also analyzes the file to determine what sample playback mode would be most useful. For example, if you add a looping Apple Loop, Sampler automatically selects Slice mode, whereas if it's a one-shot Apple Loop, Sampler will usually select Classic mode.
- With Drum Machine Designer, a looping file like an Apple Loop is sliced based on transients. Each slice is automatically assigned to a pad in the drum grid, and each pad is set to One Shot playback mode.
- With Alchemy (Additive, Granular, or Spectral), the audio file becomes the source for the sound in Alchemy (in source select field A).
Simple Drag And Drop Example
After you create the new track, you can create a MIDI region to add MIDI notes. Or you can create a pattern region to use the Step Sequencer to add a rhythm pattern.
If you add a software instrument, an audio region, or a marquee selection of a small part of a region, Logic Pro bounces in place all audio effects in that channel and in the case of software instruments, renders the notes as well.
Drag and drop to add multiple audio files
You can drag multiple audio files to create a single Sampler or Drum Machine Designer track, with each audio file assigned to its own MIDI note in the software instrument :
- When you drag multiple audio files to Sampler (Optimized), each sample is assigned to its own MIDI note in the Sampler. The Sampler tunes samples and maps zones according to pitch, normalizes loudness, and creates velocity layers for layered pitches.
- When you drag multiple files to Sampler (Chromatic), each sample is assigned to its own MIDI note in the Sampler. The samples are assigned to MIDI notes chromatically, regardless of their pitch, starting at C2.
- When you drag multiple files to Drum Machine Designer, each sample assigned to a pad in the drum grid. Each pad is assigned its own MIDI note, and each pad is set to One Shot playback mode.
Drag and drop a MIDI region to create a software instrument track
- In the Main Window of Logic Pro, drag a Software Instrument Loop, Pattern Loop, or a Drummer Loop from the Loop Browser, or a MIDI region from another software instrument track, to the lower part of the track header, below the last track.
- Drop the region onto a software instrument in the pop-up menu.
The MIDI region is converted into audio and used in the software instrument, which uses the sound associated with the original MIDI region.
Drag and drop to replace or add an audio file in a software instrument track
You can replace and add an audio file in an existing Sampler, Quick Sampler, Alchemy, or Drum Machine Designer track using drag-and-drop:
Drag And Drop Samples Logic Pro X
- Drag a single audio file onto the track header of a Quick Sampler or Alchemy track to replace the current sample.
- Drag one or more audio files onto the track header of a Sampler track to add samples to new zones in the current instrument.
You can also add and replace samples in a Drum Machine Designer track:
Drag And Drop Samples Logic Pro
- To add samples to unused pads, drag audio files onto the Drum Machine Designer track header (the only track you see if the DMD track stack is closed, or the topmost track you see if the DMD track stack is opened). If there are no unused pads, you can't add the audio file.
- To replace a sample on a pad in a Drum Machine Designer instrument, click the disclosure triangle to open the track stack, then drag the audio file onto one of the subtracks of the Drum Machine Designer.
